Sandra Preston

My work is inspired by the mysterious beauty and force of nature, especially flowers, trees, and the night sky. There is also an Asian/Southwestern-fusion theme that runs through the work. I attribute this to being born in Honolulu into a military family, spending part of my childhood growing up in Japan and the Philippines, and living in the Southwest for the past five decades. I studied art at The University of Oklahoma, The University of Texas at Austin, and in Montreal, Canada.
My studio is located in my home in Santa Fe, New Mexico. My work is currently available through Dominique Boisjoli Fine Art, 622 Canyon Road; and at Canyon Cafe, 619 Canyon Road, Santa Fe, New Mexico; and online at this website.
